POSITION DESCRIPTION:
VACANCY: International Communication & Brand Manager (Ref: 48)
Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. Itis the largest indigenous provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable them to achieve their legitimate potential.
Key Duties to Include:
· Responsibility for driving an international communications strategy for CCBRT.
· The Review of all English language communications materials developed by CCBRT.
· The management of all international, online communications channels, website and social media.
· Coordinating the writing, editing and layout of key publications e.g. Annual Report, Strategy documents, Master Plans etc.
· Executing all communications requests from Donors.
· Act as a central liaison point for all international media and coordinate International media activity accordingly
· Manage events.
· Managing the brand of CCBRT, ensuring compliance with and understanding of the brand across the Organization.
· Work with Manager (National and International) to develop annual budget for communication Department.
Work Experience / Skills:
· 2 years experience in public relations, communications, media relations or marketing –(E)
· Native English speaker (E)
· Computer Literate – Microsoft Office, Typo 3, Social Media Channels, Facebook and Twitter (E)
· Good communication skills and Excellent Interpersonal skills (E)
· Good Organizational skills (E)
· Confident , individual that’s a team player, quick and strategic thinker and creative (E)
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant field (E)
E – Essential, P – Preferred
