Overview of the Position:
Performs work in the operation of a vehicle to assure safe transportation of clients to and from various destinations and to assist clients on entry and exit from vehicles as necessary.
Minimum requirements
· Possess appropriate and current license to drive the specified type of vehicle.
· Have at least five years professional experience as a chauffeur driving in rural Kenya
· Not have any driving violations in the previous five years and have a clean driving license.
· Be mature, good-natured, responsible, and willing to work under stressful conditions and to work during evenings and weekends.
· Be fully compensated by the rental company for salary, benefits, per diem, and lodging.
· Fluent in Kiswahili
· Be neatly uniformed at all times and exhibit minimum standard of hygiene
· Have a valid certificate of good conduct
· Obey instructions from survey team leaders in so far as they do not infringe on the laws of Kenya and agreement
