This is a senior leadership position with professional accountabilities to AFIDEP partners, stakeholders and to internal functions. The overall role will entail providing leadership in the development, management, coordination and growth for all AFIDEP’s programmes in an innovative approach. The successful candidate should possess a PhD in Public Health, Demography, Economics, or related social science discipline with at least 8 years postdoctoral experience. The candidate must be a renowned policy-oriented scholar with proven track record in peer reviewed publications; development and management of research, knowledge translation, and capacity building programmes; and have experience in conducting high level engagement with policymakers and other development stakeholders.
